They were able to put me in their busy schedule that day to have my steering looked at to see what the trouble was. I got the TRUTH from them where as the other place I took it to (a Store/Repair Shop all in one that is across Canada) told me I needed Tie Rods replaced and the cost, which I was shocked at so I made some calls and found that the labour they were quoting was over the top. So I decided to take it to Midas where I have had great service in the past and they did a full inspection of the front end of the car and told me that I just need tires and a wheel alignment and that there was nothing wrong with the tie rods and that my front end was "Tight".. So I could have thrown money good after bad with the other place or spent it on what was really needed. First of all, I completely forgot about my scheduling time at Midas. In about 30 min. later an associate called and left me a voice message reminding me about my appointment and asking me to call back. I'd decided to call only for apologize for my mistake but was surprised by been invited to go right away and have my oil's car changed if I wanted to. I went to the place and once more was surprised by the quality of service from the front desk staff not only with me, but with other customers, including the ones that were calling Midas while I was there. I would like to leave a special compliment to this front desk Ladie, I am not sure her name, (Jane maybe) but I've never seen a person answering a call like her. Everybody should treat a costumer like she does.

2009 jetta oil change gone wrong
My car check engine light was on after the visit(it wasnt before) they said it will go away on it own(it didnt). After 20min 9f highway driving I came to a stop at a red light and the rpm is below 1k and the car is shaking, the engine is shaking to a scary degree. I will go back the next day for the employees to fix their mistake. And I will not pay a dime since they made the mistake and they should actually give me compensation for my troubles

I think the front desk team can be more patient and listen to customers. Customers are not expert in auto so they cannot explain the problem clearly. So patience is very important for the front desk team.

Andy was simply amazing! Very patient, takes time to explain the required work, called during the process to explain what issues he found and recommend actions. Came out to talk to me and called me by my name as he initially start the requested repair by working with my daughter and a I got involved at a later stage. He came out to explain to me the work that was done and how to keep the brake in its best operating state!

A tire needed repair. The repair was completed very quickly, and at a fair price.
I was on my way to take my father to the hospital/clinic due to an emergency. On my way, I realized my brakes were not working very well. I drove straight to Midas. I was extremely stressed and emotional due to the situation. Rhonda took care of me immediately. She calmed me down and got my car in right away. I did not get the name of the technician but he explained the problem to me clearly and told me the quickest, safest solution to get me back on the road. I have dealt with him before and he has always been outstanding. Rhonda checked on me and advised me of the progress through out the service. My dad was taken to hospital by ambulance. He is fine and thanks to midas, I was able to get to my stepmom quickly. I am so grateful to Rhonda and the staff at this location for helping me through this difficult situation and getting me moving as fast as possible.
A service technician identified that I was waiting for service and took the initiative to help me. He provided sound advice and recommendations and I was able to save a good deal of money as a result of these recommendations.
